10 minutes walk following the route bellow:

From Santa Maria Novella railway station continue to Santa Maria Novella square, cross it keeping on the left and take Via dei Fossi, when you arrive at the Lungarno go along until you reach Santa Trinita bridge, cross it, go along “Dello Sprone Street” to “Della Passere” square and then to Toscanella street. (see map beside).

For those coming by plane:

From Vespucci airport in Florence you can take Ataf – Sita bus services ending near the Santa Maria Novella railway station (from 6.00 a.m. to 11.30 p.m. every 30 minutes; travelling time approximately 20 minutes).
